- The Problem:

The long-held tradition of using a basin, soap and water to bathe bed-bound hospitalized patients is no longer the recommended standard of practice, according to the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN).

Dermatitis neglecta is a skin condition that can occur when a person does not or cannot thoroughly wash and exfoliate the skin. Dead skin cells, oils, bacteria, and other factors can buildup, leading to scaly plaques that may be hard to remove.

Caregivers are at risk of injury when lifting, transferring, and repositioning patients due to the physical demands of the job.

- Problem Solved:

Bed Bound Solutions has invented a revolutionary “Roll Bed Bath.” The Roll Bed Bath is a bathtub designed for use by bedridden individuals or those with limited mobility that need assistance with bathing. It can be placed on top of a bed to provide easy access to the individual and the caretaker.
